The 12-acre site, situated on Junction 19 of the A12, is within easy reach of London, the South-East and East Anglia and is three miles from Chelmsford train station on the mainline to London.
The centre benefits from free customer parking, full valet facilities, café, SMART repair technicians, comprehensive transport and delivery services and a team of staff dedicated to making the vehicle auction process simple, rewarding and profitable.
Aston Barclay Chelmsford holds six regular sales per week, a weekly fleet sale and numerous special sales in its specially built state of the art twin glazed auction halls.

Martin Heavey
Auction Centre Manager
Martin started in the Automotive industry in 1997 with Hertz on their graduate programme and worked with them for nearly 14 years, including 8 Years as Regional Manager for the South of the UK and Head of UK Health and Safety. Martin obtains a tremendous amount of managerial experience such as a Toys R Us Store Manager, Barclays Bank as Branch Manager and Ride Hailing App Wheely as Head of UK Operations. Europcar also had Martin for 6 years as a Regional Manager and then a further two years as their LCV Operations Director. His passion for empowering his team to create the best customer environment, has been awarded and recognised across the all industries Martin has worked in. Now Martin is dedicated to bringing his skills and leadership experience to Aston Barclay Chelmsford.
