The Peugeot E-2008 Electric Estate has moved down from 6th place in June. This SUV has a robust and assertive design, with immediate acceleration and a range of up to 250 miles.

Moving up from 8th place in May to 5th is the Nissan Qashqai e-Power. A unique hybrid crossover that blends electric driving with petrol convenience, making it an appealing option for UK drivers seeking efficiency without the need to plug in.

In 4th place it's the fashionable Nissan Leaf Hatchback, moving up the ranks from last month. This EV is an accessible and practical entry into the world of zero-emission driving. It is known for its reliability, user-friendly design, and affordability.

Tesla stays in 3rd place this month with the Model Y Hatchback. This Tesla model is known as the family-friendly option, as it has the spaciousness of an SUV combined with the sleek, modern design. It is available in several trims, including long-range and performance.

In 2nd place, it’s the Zoe Hatchback from Renault. The Renault Zoe is a compact electric hatchback designed for urban and suburban driving. It's one of Renault’s flagship EVs and has been popular in Europe since its launch in 2012, thanks to its affordability, practicality, and zero-emission powertrain.

The EV top spot belongs to the Volkswagen ID.4 for a second time this year, keeping Tesla at bay. The Volkswagen ID.4 is a fully electric SUV that combines practicality, comfort, and a respectable electric range, making it a strong contender in the family EV segment. While Volkswagen refers to it as an SUV, its spacious design and versatile boot space give it estate-like practicality.
