Aston Barclay Westbury began its life as Westbury Motor Auctions in 1986 and was acquired by Aston Barclay in 2000.
Our South West centre is located approximately one mile from the A350 and is half a mile from Westbury train station on the Reading to Plymouth line.
The centre has free customer parking, full valet facilities, café, SMART repair technicians, comprehensive transport and delivery services and a team of staff dedicated to making the vehicle auction process simple, rewarding and profitable.

Martin Treby
Auction Centre Manager
With over 30 years’ experience in the motor trade, Martin has spent his entire working career dealing with array of motor vehicles. From a mere apprentice cutting his teeth into the trade, to ‘Aftersales Dealer Of The Year’, and AM awards retailer winner for excellence in aftersales. Martin has the all the passion and dedication for the automotive industry meaning he's the perfect fit to lead our Westbury site. Vehicle remarketing has given Martin the chance to further his knowledge and build vital relationships, along with the opportunity to work with some top vehicle suppliers. Having covered various auction centres across the business, Martin’s ability and tenacity to lead teams is admirable, showing his integral part at Aston Barclay.
James Wilcox
Assistant Auction Centre Manager
James has been part of Aston Barclay since June 2022, he has brought with him an extensive knowledge in Customer Service, HSEQ and Operations. In James' previous life he worked on the railway for 20 years, within this he has won awards for accident reduction, operational excellence awards for dealing with large events (the largest being Glastonbury with circa 50,000 customers coming through the Train Station that he managed). James has also dedicated his spare time to being a Special Constable in Wiltshire police which gave him formal training, in resolution of disputes and dynamic risk assessments. James has brought a wealth of knowledge to the business, he has built some strong relationships with vendors and buyers helping to upscale Westbury since his arrival. James even in the short time he has been here also stepped to cover the Auction Centre Manager role, which allowed us to utilise Martin Treby experience and knowledge at another our Chelmsford site.
