Digital Marketing Manager

As Digital Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our online presence and maximizing our reach across various digital platforms. Additionally, you will collaborate with affiliates in the remarketing industry to expand our network and drive customer acquisition. The role reports to the director of marketing.
Principal responsibilities include:
- Develop and deliver the groups digital marketing strategy to grow traffic, leads, conversion, and revenue using paid advertising methods.
- Manage the paid digital marketing budget, ensuring the function operates in line with this.
- Continuously improve how we leverage our owned digital platforms to engage customers.
- Analyse and report on digital marketing effectiveness.
Duties include:
- Develop and implement digital marketing strategies including social media advertising, email marketing, display ads, Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Pay Per Click (PPC).
- Collaborate with affiliates in the remarketing industry to establish partnerships and drive customer acquisition through affiliate marketing efforts.
- Manage online advertising campaigns and optimise performance.
- Optimise the company websites for user experience and search engines.
- Publish content across our websites.
- Work closely with IT to improve the customer experience across our digital touchpoints including improving our ability to communicate with our customers via our website and apps.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including the operations team and wider marketing team to understand goals and objectives and ensure campaigns align with business needs.
- Implement testing and other experiments to drive continuous optimisation and improvement of digital marketing campaigns.
- Manage relationships with external agencies or vendors to ensure seamless execution of digital marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling ad copy, landing pages, and other digital assets that align with brand guidelines and drive engagement.
- Establish digital marketing objectives and KPIs.
- Own all paid digital marketing, as well as driving performance through agency management.
- Allocate and optimise spend, maximising cost per acquisition to scale new business.
- Optimise campaigns regularly to maximise ROI, ensuring budget allocation aligns with performance objectives and targets.
- Take ownership of the company's owned digital platforms, such as the website, ensuring they are optimised for user experience and conversion rate optimisation.
- Track, analyse, and report on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Use data and market intelligence to generate new ad ideas to enhance results.
- Conduct keyword research and audience targeting to inform campaign strategies and improve campaign performance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and digital marketing best practices to proactively identify new opportunities for growth.
- Stay informed about changes in digital advertising policies, platforms, and algorithms to ensure compliance and maintain optimal campaign performance.
Skills/Experience:
- Proven work experience as a Paid Digital Marketing Manager or similar role, preferably in the automotive or vehicle remarketing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing strategies, tactics, and platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, display advertising, and remarketing
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience managing large-scale digital advertising budgets and achieving measurable results.
- Proficiency in using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or similar platforms to monitor campaign performance and track key metrics.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and affiliates.
- Experience in affiliate marketing and managing affiliate programs is highly desirable.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative strategies and adapt to changing market dynamics.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple campaigns simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Passion for the automotive industry and a understanding of vehicle remarketing is desirable.
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Competitive salary.
