10. Polestar 2 Fastback (Electric)

A vehicle and make who are no stranger to the EV leaderboard in at 10th place is the Polestar 2 Fastback. The Polestar 2 Fastback is a premium all-electric 5-door sporty hatch/fastback combining sleek Scandinavian design with dynamic performance. It offers a range of up to around 409 miles, depending on the battery and drivetrain, and can accelerate from 0-60 mph in around 4.0 seconds in its top variant.

9. Cupra Born Electric Hatchback (Electric)

In 9th place this month we have another new entry to the our EV leaderboard the Cupra Born Electric Hatchback. The Cupra Born is a sharply styled electric hatch that combines sporty design with everyday usability. With up to approximately 265 miles of WLTP range in its standard form, and punchy performance-variants capable of quicker sprints, it’s a lively but practical choice for drivers wanting EV energy and hatchback convenience.

8. Nissan Leaf Hatchback (Electric)

We’ve seen this model throughout our leaderboard but unfortunately this month is less popular falling to 8th place from 2nd. As one of the original mass-market EVs, the Nissan Leaf continues to shine in 2025. Affordable, practical, and easy to drive, it appeals to drivers looking for a simple, no-fuss electric car. Its zero-emission powertrain and intuitive features make it a popular choice for everyday commuting, with the added benefit of lower running costs compared to conventional vehicles.

7. Hyundai Kona Hatchback (Hybrid)

Our first Hybrid model to grace our EV leaderboard in at 7th place is the Hyundai Kona Hybrid. The Hyundai Kona Hybrid is a compact SUV that combines smart hybrid efficiency with strong everyday practicality. Powered by a 1.6 litre petrol engine plus an electric motor delivering a combined output of around 141 PS, it offers excellent fuel-economy and smooth driving performance.

6. Skoda ENYAQ iV Estate (Electric)

Another brand new entry on the EV leaderboard for October is the ENYAQ iV Estate from Skoda in at a respectable 6th place. The Skoda ENYAQ iV Estate offers spacious, all-electric motoring built for families and businesses alike, thanks to its flexible layout and large 585-litre boot (extendable with the seats folded) from the outset. With battery options up to 82 kWh and WLTP ranges exceeding 310 miles, it combines genuine everyday usability with clean-electric performance.

5. Mercedes-Benz EQC Estate (Electric)

A new entry to this month’s leaderboard in 5th place is the Mercedes-Benz EQC Estate. The Mercedes-Benz EQC Estate is a premium all-electric SUV that blends luxury, performance, and advanced technology. Powered by dual electric motors producing 402 bhp, it delivers smooth, silent acceleration and up to 255 miles of range. Inside, the EQC offers a refined, high-tech cabin featuring the MBUX infotainment system, intelligent driver aids, and the comfort and quality you’d expect from Mercedes-Benz.

4. Nissan Qashqai Hatchback (Hybrid Electric)

In 4th place the popular Hybrid model from Nissan the Qashqai Hatchback. The Nissan Qashqai Hatchback (Hybrid) features Nissan’s unique e-POWER system, where a petrol engine generates electricity for an electric motor that drives the wheels, giving it an electric-car feel with hybrid convenience.

3. Tesla Model Y Hatchback (Electric)

In at 3rd place this month is the Tesla Model Y Hatchback, we’ve seen this model multiple times in our EV leaderboard. The Tesla Model Y Hatchback is a versatile all-electric SUV that blends hatchback practicality with crossover space and Tesla’s signature tech. With WLTP-rated ranges up to around 387 miles, rapid charging capability, and a sleek minimalist interior anchored by a 15.4″ centre touchscreen, it’s designed for both everyday usability and long-distance performance.

2. Volkswagen ID.4 Estate (Electric)

Topping the chart in at 2nd place for October 2025 is the Volkswagen ID.4 Estate, offering a spacious, versatile, and comfortable electric driving experience. Its estate-style body provides ample storage for families or those with active lifestyles, while the advanced electric drivetrain ensures excellent range and smooth performance. With a focus on practicality without compromising on modern design, it remains a favourite among buyers looking for a long-range EV with everyday usability.

1. Tesla Model 3 Saloon (Electric)

In 1st place is Tesla’s powerhouse model the 3 Saloon fully electric, climbing up from 9th spot last month! The Tesla Model 3 is a sleek all-electric saloon offering both high performance and impressive efficiency. With WLTP-rated ranges of up to about 410 miles and some variants sprinting from 0-60 mph in just 4.2 seconds, it delivers strong everyday usability and thrilling acceleration.
