From compact city cars to spacious estates and SUVs, here’s a closer look at the top 10 best-selling electric and hybrid vehicles this month. 

10. Audi A3 Sportback (Hybrid)

In 10th place, a brand-new entry to the EV leaderboard is the Audi A3 Sportback Hybrid. Thanks to its hybrid setup, it offers strong flexibility: you can do daily commutes or short journeys purely electric but still rely on the petrol engine for longer trips without range anxiety. Inside, the A3 Sportback feels premium and well-built. The interior layout, materials, and fittings match what you’d expect from a compact-class premium hatchback.   

9. Mercedes-Benz EQC Estate (Electric)

In 9th place is the Mercedes-Benz EQC Estate. The Mercedes-Benz EQC Estate is a premium all-electric SUV that blends luxury, performance, and advanced technology. Powered by dual electric motors producing 402 bhp, it delivers smooth, silent acceleration and up to 255 miles of range. Inside, the EQC offers a refined, high-tech cabin featuring the MBUX infotainment system, intelligent driver aids, and the comfort and quality ty you’d expect from Mercedes-Benz. 

8. Hyundai Ioniq Hatchback (Electric)

Back on the leaderboard this month is the Hyundai Ioniq Hatchback. The Ioniq Electric is the fully electric (battery-only) hatchback version of the broader Ioniq line. It aims to offer a practical, efficient electric alternative to traditional petrol/diesel hatchbacks, with the everyday usability of a compact family car. 

7. Cupra Born Electric Hatchback (Electric)

In 7th place this month, we have another new entry to our EV leaderboard, the Cupra Born Electric Hatchback. The Cupra Born is a sharply styled electric hatch that combines sporty design with everyday usability. With up to approximately 265 miles of WLTP range in its standard form, and punchy performance variants capable of quicker sprints, it’s a lively but practical choice for drivers wanting EV energy and hatchback convenience. 

6. Polestar 2 Fastback (Electric)

A vehicle and make that is no stranger to the EV leaderboard in at 6th place is the Polestar 2 Fastback. The Polestar 2 Fastback is a premium all-electric 5-door sporty hatch/fastback combining sleek Scandinavian design with dynamic performance. It offers a range of up to around 409 miles, depending on the battery and drivetrain, and can accelerate from 0-60 mph in around 4.0 seconds in its top variant. 

5. MG Motor UK MG5 Estate (Electric)

In 5th place is another new entry from MG Motor UK, the MG5 Estate. The MG5 EV Estate is especially appealing if you are after a practical, affordable, no-frills electric estate good for families, people needing lots of boot space (e.g. for pets, luggage, shopping), commuters, or anyone wanting to switch to electric without paying SUV-level prices. It’s a sensible choice over style-driven EVs, ideal for everyday use where practicality, space, and running costs matter more than luxury or performance. 

4. Tesla Model Y Hatchback (Electric)

In 4th place this month is the Tesla Model Y Hatchback. We’ve seen this model multiple times in our EV leaderboard. The Tesla Model Y Hatchback is a versatile all-electric SUV that blends hatchback practicality with crossover space and Tesla’s signature tech. With WLTP-rated ranges up to around 387 miles, rapid charging capability, and a sleek, minimalist interior anchored by a 15.4″ centre touchscreen, it’s designed for both everyday usability and long-distance performance. 

3. Nissan Qashqai Hatchback (Hybrid Electric)

In 3rd place, the popular Hybrid model from Nissan, the Qashqai Hatchback. The Nissan Qashqai Hatchback (Hybrid) features Nissan’s unique e-POWER system, where a petrol engine generates electricity for an electric motor that drives the wheels, giving it an electric-car feel with hybrid convenience. 

2. MG Motor UK ZS Hatchback (Electric)

In second place this month is a new entry from MG Motor UK ZS Hatchback. The MG ZS EV is the fully electric version of the MG ZS compact SUV, designed to offer an affordable yet practical entry point into electric driving. 

1. Tesla Model 3 Saloon (Electric)

Keeping 1st place is Tesla’s powerhouse model, the 3 Saloon, fully electric! The Tesla Model 3 is a sleek all-electric saloon offering both high performance and impressive efficiency. With WLTP-rated ranges of up to about 410 miles and some variants sprinting from 0-60 mph in just 4.2 seconds, it delivers strong everyday usability and thrilling acceleration.
