Below, we dive into why these EVs were best-sellers at Aston Barclay throughout July.  

In 10th place is the BMW Model I3 Hatchback. The BMW I3 Hatchback is a distinctive electric hatchback built with lightweight carbon fibre and eco-friendly materials, offering agile handling and a futuristic design. 

In 9th place is the BMW 3 Series Saloon Hybrid, a compact executive car that blends performance, luxury, and technology. It's one of BMW’s most iconic and best-selling models, known for its sporty driving dynamics and refined design. 

Moving to 8th  place, is the Peugeot E-2008 Electric Estate. The Peugeot e-2008 offers a compelling blend of style, comfort, and usability in the compact EV SUV segment. With its roomy cabin, solid build, and decent range, it’s well-suited for families or urban drivers. 

In at 7th place it’s the Zoe Hatchback from Renault. The Renault Zoe is a compact electric hatchback designed for urban and suburban driving. It's one of Renault’s flagship EVs and has been popular in Europe since its launch in 2012, thanks to its affordability, practicality, and zero-emissions powertrain. 

In 6th place this month is the Audi A3 Sportback. Audi’s plug-in hybrid hatchback blending electric efficiency with petrol range flexibility. Ideal for urban commutes and errand driving with frequent home charging access. 

 Moving to 5th  place, is the Nissan Qashqai e-Power. A unique hybrid crossover that blends electric driving with petrol convenience, making it an appealing option for UK drivers seeking efficiency without the need to plug in. 

Tesla moves down to 4th place this month with the Model Y Hatchback. This Tesla model is known as the family-friendly option, as it has the spaciousness of an SUV combined with the sleek, modern design. It is available in several trims, including long-range and performance. 

In 3rd place is the Nissan Leaf Hatchback, moving up four places from last month. This EV is an accessible and practical entry into the world of zero-emission driving, it is known for its reliability, user-friendly design, and affordability. 

In second place is the Model 3 Saloon from world renowned EV pioneer, Tesla. Ideal for drivers seeking cutting-edge EV performance and tech in a sleek, efficient saloon, be ready to embrace its touchscreen-first interface and ongoing software updates. 

The EV top spot belongs to The Volkswagen ID.4 for a third time this year, keeping Tesla at bay. The Volkswagen ID.4 is a fully electric SUV that combines practicality, comfort, and a respectable electric range, making it a strong contender in the family EV segment. While Volkswagen refers to it as an SUV, its spacious design and versatile boot space give it estate-like practicality.
