Cash Deposit
If you are the highest bidder a £400 Cash Deposit is payable immediately at the rostrum. Account customers do not need to provide a deposit.
Only if your bid is not accepted by the Seller will your deposit be refunded.
Settlement
The settlement value (Sale Price + Buyers Fee - Deposit) is payable by either:
- Cash*
- Bankers Draft (or Building Society issued cheque)
- Credit# or Debit card presented in person + PIN number required.
* A 1% + VAT handling charge is applicable on cash payments (Excluding entry fees and deposits).
# Credit card payments are subject to a 3% surcharge
NO PERSONAL CHEQUES
All lots must be paid for on the day of sale. Later payments may only be made by arrangement with the office. The vehicle will not be released until payment has been received in full. Failure to pay on time will result in the deposit being forfeited.
Buyers Fee
A Buyer's fee, based on the selling price, is payable on all vehicles bought at auction. This fee covers the services provided by the auction, including the compensation fund fee referred to in Part C Paragraph 4 of our General Conditions of Auction. An auction tariff, including buyers' fees is displayed in the auction office.

Anti-Money Laundering Legislation introduced by HM Revenue & Customs is in effect. To comply with the rules we only accept up to £9,000 in cash for any vehicles bought on any one day.
